Uses

Plastics processing and production: 12-HSS is used as an additive in the production of PVC products (films, sheets, window profiles, wall panels, siding, etc.). 12-HSA is an additive part (these are different substances and components which are used for the superheat reduction in cylinders of the processing units and provide good sliding of the melts)

Lubricants: 12-HSA can be used in lithium, barium and calcium-free high quality glycerol lubricants. These lubricants are predestined for airplanes and cars; they are water-, oil- and temperature resistant;

Cosmetics and perfume: 12-HSA can be used in the production of liquid vaseline, is used as a component of cosmetic creams;

Coating compounds: 12-HSA reacts to acrylates in the production of stable thermoreactive polymers, which are used in the production of automechanical and industrial plants of high quality and metallic decorative layers.

Production of packaging materials that contact with food.

Rubber products: 12-HSA is used as an activating agent and internal lubricant in the production of natural and synthetic rubber products.

Other products: 12-HSA is used as a component in polishing agents, printing ink, fusible adhesives and as a hydroxylated substitute for stearic acid.
